I could pull off blunt bangs as a kid….who’s to say I can’t do it now???

I am the little one.

Oh this takes me back. Kim’s 21st Birthday on 6th St in Austin, TX. Bar hopping, flirting our way into free drinks all night long, pizza on the curb while all the bars are letting out, pool side the entire next day. Now that was a birthday extravaganza!

Creepy Japanese commercial?

creeeeepy-kim replied to your post: Just got back!
I miss you already

I am already planning trip two! Hurricane Alley and bonfire on the beach!!

From my mini vacation in Corpus Christi, TX. Minus a couple hiccups along the way, I had an amazing trip. Spending time with my bff Kim and her beautiful daughter Raegan was more than I could of asked for. Not to mention I got a new tattoo!!

I took off out of Houston on Thursday evening, arriving way too late to do anything but get Weinerschnitzel. But that was my first piece of heaven! Headed back to Kim’s, watched some movies, got some rest. The next day we spent at the pool. It was the first time I had swam in over a year! It was glorious! Then after a couple of drinks with Kim and Kris Roberts at Bamboo Garden, we headed over to Pinnacle Tattoo to get my ribs done. The piece Kris drew for me was fantastic and I did my best not to twitch and move around while he was working. Ribs hurt…a lot. I was pretty proud of myself for not crying. haha

New Tattoo!

I love it. :)

Later that night Kim and I went out to House of Rock for some drinks, and who do we run into? Kris Roberts of course. haha We had a few drinks, danced and sang to Orgy over the jukebox, grabbed some Whataburger and headed back to Kim’s place. It was a decent night out on the streets of downtown CC.

Saturday was full of more pool time, movies and relaxing before we headed out to Click’s for a battle of the bands competitionwhere our friend John Massey’s band With My Last Breath was playing. The night was sort of dull at first, listening to bands we had never heard of, drinking vodka redbulls, making walls with our empty cups, running into Kris Roberts, AGAIN! The highlight of the night? Meeting my other half, Roger Vela. I swear this guy must of had a direct link to my brain. The moment we met we started quoting movies, laughing at stupid jokes, making retarded faces at each other. It was magical. :)

Sunday I spent lounging around with Roger watching movies, joking, laughing and being dumb. I headed back to Kim’s house, watched more movies and passed out. Monday was filled with more girl talk, pool time and adventures. That evening Roger took me to see the Avengers. I was not disappointed. The only thing that bothered me about the movie was that I had no idea who some of the characters were. Research time!!! The next morning it was time to pack my things. :( I spent as much one on one time with Kim and Rae as I could, got my things together and headed out to the bus station. My last Corpus adventure? Grabbing Boat n’ Net with Roger. :) I said my goodbyes, hopped on the bus, and spent 4 hours crammed into a sardine can with a bunch of smelly travelers. WHAT A TRIP!

Now I am back in H-Town, and I am thoroughly dissatisfied with it. I thought getting away for awhile would clear my head. I would feel rejuvenated, refreshed, ready to start again. Instead I feel empty and alone. I miss my CC family. :(

I will return very soon! And with more adventures planned!
